A beautiful Kewa (Santo Domingo Pueblo) fox turquoise heishi necklace accented with white shells and two jaclas hanging from the end. The word “heishi” means shell and it is one of the oldest forms of bead making in North America. Jacla are traditionally an adornment worn around the ear and hung on a necklace when not being used.
